Why Is Facebook So Depressing and Boring?

I've always wondered what makes facebook tick, how it stays alive, a site that never sleeps, that's what I thought at first, then I realized twitter is a lot more alive than facebook, lots of hilarious tweets, meeting new people, learning new things. Facebook, at one time was in my thought a great site, chatting to people I knew and posting comments, posts, images etc. Then after a while it just got more boring and more boring, eventually there was nothing interesting to post, which leads to my next point. If there's nothing interesting to post for yourself, then everybody else is thinking the same and just posting any old crap for the sake of it. "Oh i've done this and I've done that" Who cares, its your life deal with it and don't share depressing statuses, it just makes us feel a hell lot bored and stressed. Many peoples opinions on facebook that I've heard have all been negative, many have moved to twitter. Its not the pages on facebook, they are amazing, so much full of life, its not the games either, I think its just the people on there that make it a living hell, I don't want to sound nasty but its true, maybe if they changed their ways of posting, e.g. make it more interesting. Then maybe I could live with that and I'm sure there are many others of you out there who totally agree with me on this one. Facebook is kinda getting boring.
