JORDAN DAVID BROWN: Jenna Coleman's exit from Doctor Who was utterly heartbreaking and upsetting

On Saturday night, many whovians settled down to watch Doctor Who. After only finding out earlier in the week that Jenna Coleman would be making an exit in the episode 'Face The Raven' many feared and took to twitter saying that it was all happening too fast. I myself only found out about this news on Saturday afternoon, so it was a big shock to myself. The episode marked the return for a couple of characters: Joivan Wade as 'Rigsy' and Maisie Williams as 'Ashilda'. Rigsy contacted the Doctor and Clara when he noticed a mysterious tattoo appeared on his neck, which was numbers counting down. This led them to a hidden street in London where they saw Ashilda again and many other aliens who were seeking refuge. A raven, controlled by 'The Shade' who of which we are unsure, is what kills the person who has the counting down tattoo marks, which is controlled by Ashilda who is in a sealed contract with the mysterious ' The Shade'.

Clara's kindness led to her death, she took away the tattoo from Rigsy, leading the raven to come for her.

The most heartbreaking moments were her Goodbye to The Doctor and her braveness as she faced the raven whispering the words "Let me be brave."

A multi shot of clara screaming occured as the raven passed through her stomach, into her body and began to take her life.

Clara's life ceased as her expression froze and the black smoke to which the raven morphs into, begins to pour out of her mouth. This was by far one of the most heartbreaking, upsetting moments to ever appear on Doctor Who.

Clara is dead, but have we seen the last of her? Only time will tell.
